HOPE+WELLNESS is a private practice dedicated to compassionate care for individuals with depression, stress, and anxiety. We are currently hiring a mental health clinician (Psychologist, LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT) who is warm, caring, reliable, and highly skilled in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness). Candidates must be licensed in the State of Virginia. Post-Docs and Residents in Psychology may also be considered.
As a practice, we work with children, teens, women, young adults, and adults who present with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, work stress/life balance issues, health conditions (e.g., chronic pain, infertility), adjustment and life transition concerns. We have a special emphasis on maternal and women's mental health. We encourage creativity and and will work to match you up with what you are passionate about and finding you your ideal client fit.
We are looking for candidates with experience working with these concerns. A good fit would be a clinician who genuinely values the therapeutic relationship and uses a humanistic approach in psychotherapy -- a clinician who is looking to build a practice as part of a team rather than alone, and would rather not focus on the details and responsibilities of running a business but desires to focus completely on the well being of their patients.
This is an employee position with benefits. Morning, daytime, evening, and weekend hours are available. Clinician must be able to work at least one evening or weekend shift and a minimum of 20 hours per week. There is growth potential to expand these hours.

Provide outpatient individual psychotherapy, assessment, and consultation services
Implement evidence-based treatment (e.g., Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
Maintain electronic health records for clients
Available to hold at least 20 patient sessions per week
Licensed mental health therapist (PhD, PsyD, LPC, LICSW, LMFT)
Passionate about the art of therapy
Growth-mindset, commitment to learning
Able to work at least one evening or weekend a week if part time, or at least two evenings/weekend a week if full time
Have at least one niche market (i.e., children, teens, grief, trauma)
In-network with BCBS or willingness to become in-network with BCBS. Clinicians will join insurance panels under our group. We will handle the credentialing process for all new clinicians, as well as handle billing and reconciliation.
