Compassionate care for depression, anxiety & stress

hope+wellness is a mental health practice with a unique story. It was created based on our philosophy that hope can be found even in the most difficult seasons of life. We believe that people need hope and resilience to set goals and affect change, to persevere in the face of life challenges and thrive. Our approach is simple — we provide exceptional psychotherapy services to empower people to live happier, healthier lives.

At Hope+Wellness, we provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness based therapies, and other premier evidence-based treatments. We work with children, teens, young adults, adults, and their families. We also provide specialized care for women's mental health and wellness across the lifespan.

Our offices are located in Falls Church and McLean, Virginia. We also serve the Arlington, Great Falls, Vienna, Alexandria, and the greater Washington DC region. As soon as you come to our practice, you will find a comfortable and calming atmosphere that will put your mind at ease. We believe that practicing good wellness invites greater peace, focus, and balance.

therapy for modern life

You are not alone.
We are here to help.

We provide evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help womenchildren and teens, young adults, and adults navigate life's toughest questions, challenges, and transitions. Many things in life can disrupt our emotional health. During these times, it is natural to feel out of touch with ourselves and to struggle with difficult emotions. We provide a gentle, collaborative environment to explore areas of your life you'd like to improve, and to help you move toward greater health, happiness, and well being.

Common issues we treat include depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, low self esteem, giftedness, challenges with creativity, existential sadness or depression, grief and loss, infertility, adjustment and life transitions, identity, and challenges in finding meaning and purpose.

Click on each of the individual topics below to learn more about our services. Reach out to us when you are ready to book an appointment or if you have any questions.

Depression can affect all aspects of your life, including behavior, sleep patterns, relationships, and academic performance. Therapy can help reduce the pain and restore a sense of hope and meaning.

Anxiety is a natural part of life, but when it becomes overwhelming and uncontrollable, it's time to get help. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the most effective treatment for anxiety. As experts in CBT, we will work with you to break free of symptoms and restore calm.

Change is a normal part of life, but sometimes we can be left feeling stuck, lost, or overwhelmed. We can help you navigate difficult transitions in your life to develop clarity, wisdom, and inner strength.

We offer individual treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for children (8+) and teens. Therapy can offer a safe space for your child to explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions during a critical time in their lives.

We provide individual treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for young adults facing a variety of emotional and life concerns, offering a compassionate, one-on-one environment where you truly feel supported and heard.

We provide specialized individual treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy to empower women in all aspects of life, including personal growth, overcoming mood and anxiety disorders, and navigating major life transitions.

Dealing with serious or chronic health problems can challenge you physically and emotionally. We can help you navigate the emotional and behavioral aspects of coping with a chronic illness or health condition.

Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life.
